Braided hair

Braided hair

How to braid embroidered hair

There are many forms of braids - from the more difficult to the simple ones.

Today, I want to show you how to do these three:

  1. the French braid

  2. the fishtail braid

  3. cornrows with a bun

Before I send you off to watch the videos, here is one piece of advice:

Keep in mind that braiding uses a lot of the threads you have stitched. The embroidery methods I teach leave the center parts of the head bald. This might cause the fabric to show through the threads if you use too many of the threads for the braids. Always let some threads cover the fabric.

I will show you in the videos of course, but I found it important to point out beforehand.

The next chapter is all about ponytails and how to make a messy bun!
